Episode 10 – in this live reading from The Golden Telescope – Book One in my Jack and the Magic Hat Maker middle-grade fantasy series, I read Chapters Seventeen – Confrontation and Eighteen – Rescue.
In Chapter Seventeen, we sit in on a heated conversation between Jack and his uncle Earl and aunt Lizzie. We learn that they plan to take him on a trip to Europe in the morning, confirm they are having him followed, and take his cell phone so he has no way to contact Bart and Bill.
In Chapter Eighteen, we listen in as Jack tries to figure out what to do about the predicament he is in, while, unbeknownst to him, Arthur materializes into his dingy, basement bedroom and reveals, not only himself, but other key information, as well.
