Markus Was One of My Early Raw Food Heroes. Back in 2007 I began a journey in search of the optimal diet for healing and disease prevention. That search led me to a mostly raw food diet. I’ve written a lot about that experience over …
Not only did I lose weight, but I’m also noticing some other health conditions improving in that short time.
Yes, I lost 5 pounds in 10 days…which is incredible…but I also noticed my skin looking better and my energy improving!
Honestly, I’m not completely sure if my success was 100% due to the Mary’s Mini diet…or if the Intermittent Fasting/OMAD (One Meal A Day) approach was what made the difference.
HERE’S MY MARY’S MINI BREAKDOWN
The first 8 days I followed the standard Mary’s Mini protocol, ie; I ate regular meals, as I would normally, but made sure to eat only foods approved for this program. Granted, I did include some yams and sweet potatoes, too. I figured they are all (essentially) potatoes…even though the orange ones I thought were yams are probably just a different variety of sweet potato.
But by day 8 I hadn’t achieved the kind of weight-loss goals I’d hoped for. So, the last 2 days I decided to incorporate an OMAD approach, skipping breakfast and lunch, only eating a single evening meal
AND THAT MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE
