Here’s a sneak peek at the outline for chapters 1 and 2 –
Chapter 1 Outline –
In ancient Sumer, 16-year-old Princess Isabella Amarna prepares for her coronation ceremony. She practices her royal duties in the palace, interacting with servants and advisors. Isabella reflects on her mother’s death and her father’s recent remarriage to Kubaba. As she tries on her ceremonial robes, Isabella overhears Kubaba speaking in an unknown language behind closed doors, raising her suspicions.
Chapter 2 Outline –
On the eve of her coronation, Isabella confronts Kubaba about her strange behavior. Kubaba reveals her true nature as a sorceress and casts a curse of invisibility on Isabella. As Isabella’s body fades from sight, Kubaba begins a complex ritual. A vortex of magic engulfs Isabella, propelling her through time. She arrives naked and invisible in present-day Tyler, Texas, in 2025, materializing in a busy park. Disoriented and panicked, Isabella struggles to comprehend her surroundings, unable to read signs or understand the language around her.
