My first real attempt at a pastel portrait. I’m calling this one Little Sister. It’s just for me…a tribute to my younger sister, Heather, who passed away last year. It’s a work-in-progress…so, please don’t judge. Pastels are challenging because…the smear is real, omg! But I’ve wanted to give them a serious attempt for quite some time now. So, this is it. I know the colors aren’t right yet. My set of pastels has limited colors…so, it requires mixing to get the shades right. Stay tuned.
