Are you as confused about diet and all the freaking weight-loss programs and theories out there as I am? In this Car-Chat video I share (most of) my personal story about the struggle I’ve been through trying to lose weight and achieve optimal health and wellness.
I have been dieting, literally, since I was 10 years old. If people think it’s a new phenomenon for kids to worry about their weight, I’ve got some news for you! Ya, I inherited my body obsession (mostly) from my mom, who was also obsessed with her weight.
Frankly, I’m really fed up and sick and tired from all the diet B.S. out there. I just want to master this part of my life so that I can move on to sharing more interesting aspects of my personal story.
But it seems to be my Achilles Heel! Ugh! I KNOW you feel my pain!
I’ve pretty much gotten over my need to consume refined grains, sugar, and seed oils. I RARELY consume those things anymore. In fact, I’m so damn conscientious about what goes in my mouth (I was going to say Pie Hole…but THAT doesn’t apply here, lol!) that you’d think I’d be some kind of diet ninja by now! Heh.
But I’m Not
I struggle with this issue more than any other single problem in my life. I’m not even kidding. <I shake my head>
