These Thumbprint Cookies are such a TREAT! If you're craving a truly mouth-watering cookie to serve with coffee, or impress your friends, you're going to LOVE these delicious nuggets! 

The only time my mother made them was for a church event or for Christmas, but they are lots of FUN to make with kids! I like to set up a little 'production line' with someone rolling the balls and tossing them in the egg white wash, another child rolling them around, and then putting them into a bowl of finely-chopped nuts, and another placing them on the baking sheet. Our grandkids argue over who gets to do the 'thumbprint' part!
